Adalbert Brossart

Adalbert George Brossart, the son of Nick and Magdalen (Voeller) Brossart was born on January 24, 1934 just west of Rugby, North Dakota.  He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Heart of America Care Center in Rugby, North Dakota.

Adalbert was raised west of Rugby, with his brothers and sisters on the family farm.  He loved being a boy on the farm, raising cows and pigs and getting a 4-H grand champion for heifer and steer at the county fair.  Al served his country in the U.S. Army in Washington State at Fort Lewis.  He worked as a sheet metal specialist and moved his family to California, where he worked in the Aerospace field, where he also made parts for the Apollo spaceships.  Al was a good man, he gave more than he ever got back.  He will be missed greatly.

Al is survived by his four children; brothers and sisters, Ed, Nick Jr., Viola, Ann and Betty; several nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Dan, Tony, Ray, Tom, Monica, Lucille and Marcelle.

Go in peace dad, we love you and will miss you, but we will see you again.

There will be no services at this time as Al donated his body to science so he may help others.
