Dusty John Sebastian, the son of Douglas and Michelle (Genre) Sebastian was born on April 8, 1991 in Minot, North Dakota. He died at the age of 23 years, early Friday morning, October 17 at the scene of a one vehicle accident on Hwy 2, east of Granville, North Dakota.
Dusty was raised in Towner and graduated from Towner High School, the class of 2009. He worked as a fabricator for Fiberglass Specialties in Minot and drove semi for Jaegers’ Triple J Farms part-time and loved his jobs. When he was not working, he spent all the time he could with the love of his life, Michelle ‘Momo’ Hale and their one year old son, Abel John. Their second son, Dusty John Jr. was born on Saturday, October 18th, 2014. Dusty was a giant fan of the Minnesota Vikings, enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Dusty is survived by his partner of 9 years, Michelle Hale and their children, Abel and Dusty Jr., all of Towner; father, Douglas (Michelle) of Loveland, Colorado; brothers, Chris (Montel Elgaen) of Bismarck and Derrake (Nickey) of Minot; sister, Chelsea (Jose’ Quinones) Sebastian of Bismarck; paternal grandmother, Eunice Sebastian of Towner; maternal grandfather, Alvin Genre of Westhope; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; maternal grandmother, Betty Genre; and paternal grandfather, Myron Sebastian.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 25th, 2014 at the St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Towner with burial in the Church Cemetery. Father Michael Schommer, Celebrant.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday with a rosary and vigil prayer service and sharing of memories at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday for one hour prior to the time of services, all in the church.
