Howard Wilson Duck IV, the son of Howard Duck III and Ronda (Tofte) Duck was born November 15, 1975 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He died at the age of 41 years on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the scene of a motor vehicle/train collision in Rugby, North Dakota.
Howard was raised in the home of his parents at the Grand Forks Airbase and in Germany. The family moved to Rugby where Rhonda raised Howard and his brother, Travis. He received his education, graduating from Rugby High School, the class of 1994. He completed his education at Lake Region Community College in Devils Lake, studying consumer technologies. Following college he worked as a customer service representative and quality assurance supervisor for the telecommunication/marketing companies of Variety, The Connection, and M.T.I.. Howard enjoyed fishing, darts, cheering on the “49 er’s”, NASCAR, and membership in the Rugby Eagles. His happy, joking personality will be missed.
Survivors are two uncles, Doug and David Tofte, both of Rugby; an aunt, Joleen Higbee; cousins, Justin (Kristy) Tofte and Jenn Tofte (Jace Eagleson); other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda Tofte Brossart; a brother, Travis Duck; uncle, Dwight Tofte; and his grandparents, Arwin and Ruby Tofte.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Rugby with spring burial in the Persilla Watts Cemetery, Rugby. Rev. Barb Haugerud, officiating. |
