Posted Condolences:

I just want to send you my condolences. I think Katherine was related to me somehow. My grandparents were Nick and Tillie {Locker} Leier of Orrin. My mother was Bridget(Leier)McCarthy. I also send my condolences to the Gerald Koble family. I knew the family when I was young. I used to stay at Ben and Katie Lauinger's house.

My sympathy in your loss - I knew your loved one through NAPUS as a fellow Postmaster. She was one of those that always had a smile to share and had an infectious giggle!! God's peace to you, you are in my prayers.

As a former postmaster in ND, I remember Kaye well, as we shared our work for many years. I enjoyed knowing Kaye as a 583 postmaster as well, and will remember how much fun she was to work with. Even when work seemed over busy and difficult, Kaye always had a way of making things lighter and fun. She will certainly be missed by many of the ND retired postmasters.
