Kristi Sue (Brossart) Erickson, the daughter of John and Rosemary (Scheet) Brossart was born on September 11, 1968 in Rugby, North Dakota. She died at the age of 47 on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota surrounded by family and friends.
Kristi was raised in Rugby and graduated from Rugby High School in 1986. She was united in marriage to Richard ‘Rick’ Erickson on October 17, 1987 at the Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby. The couple made their home in Rugby and raised their daughter Kali. Kristi enjoyed going to the lake with her family to fish or relax on the pontoon. She enjoyed her weekly dart and bingo nights with some of her closest friends and on her down time you could always find a book in her hand. Kristi loved to snuggle with and care for her three yorkies. Kristi spent the last two years of her life struggling with the diagnosis of lung cancer. She was dealt many challenges that many would have surrendered to; however, she always faced every setback with the will to fight. Her greatest strength came from getting the chance to hold and watch her first grandchild explore and learn the world around her. Kristi had a personality that could make anyone light up and was loved by many.
