Mary Voeller, the daughter of Anton and Eva (Krause) was born on March 17, 1926 in the Berwick, North Dakota home of her parents. She died at the age of 91 years on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Heart of America Care Center in Rugby, North Dakota.
Mary was raised in the Towner, North Dakota home of her parents and graduated from Towner High School, the class of 1945. Following high school, she worked in the ASC office in Towner for 10 years. In 1955, she moved to Minneapolis and worked for Commodity Corporation for a year and then took an administrative position with Della Products, Inc., a position she held until retiring in 1991 and moved to Minot, North Dakota. Mary joined St. Leo’s Catholic Church upon her arrival in Minot and enjoyed several years of volunteer work at her church. She delighted in pastimes such as knitting, crocheting and talking quite walks.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Arnetta Voeller of Rugby; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Roy Voeller.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, June 5th at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Towner with burial in the church cemetery. Fr. Michael Schommer, Celebrant
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday with a rosary and vigil prayer service at 7 p.m. in the Anderson Funeral Home, Towner. Visitation will continue Monday for one hour prior to the time of services at the Church. |
