Mary Elizabeth Yoder, the daughter of Jerry M. and Lydia Ann (Slabaugh) Yoder was born on July 7, 1929 in Rolette, North Dakota. She died at the age of 84 years on December 5, 2013 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, North Dakota.
Mary was raised in the home of her parents. When she completed her education she did housework for various people in the community and later moved to Williston, North Dakota. She lived there for 26 years and worked at the El Rancho Motel and also cleaned for people while living there. She joined the First Baptist Church in Williston. In 1993, she moved back to Rolette to live closer to her mother. She joined the Assembly of God Church in Rolette.
Mary is survived by her brother Paul (Bertha) Yoder of Cambridge, Minnesota; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Sjong and Edna Graber; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 10th at the Assembly of God Church in Rolette. Spring burial in the Rolette Community Cemetery, Rolette. Pastor Gene Wilson, officiating.
Visitation: will be from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Tuesday.
