Michael “Mike” Gerard Tennancour died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the age of 58 years in his home in Sidney, Montana.  He was born to John and Gladys (Gehres-Sparby) Tennancour on April 12, 1956 in Rolette, North Dakota.

Mike met his future wife, Memory Berg in 1972 and they married in 1977 in Towner, ND.  Their children were born at military installations; Jennifer in Madigan Air Force Base, WA, Christina in Wurzburg, Germany, and twin sons Michael P.J. and Matthew in Ft. Sill, OK.  Matthew died shortly after birth.  Mike was always devoted to his family, friends, and country.  He always put others before himself even during his courageous battle with cancer.  He never lost his sense of humor even at the end.  Many, many people found him inspirational and looked forward to his daily quotes.  His motto was always, “Game On”.  His family could not be more proud of him.  He will be dearly missed.

Mike is survived by his wife, Memory; daughters, Jennifer Arias (David Lambert), children, Alicia, Iliana, Addyson, Nicholas; and Christina (Kent) Keller, children Sidney, Brodey, Sierra and Shevelle, all of Towner; twin son, Michael “P.J.” (Heidi) Tennancour, children, Garrett, Taryn and Tobin of Sidney, MT; Siblings, Shirley (Lawrence) Hoffman of Rolla, Beverly (Harry) Belgarde of Belcourt, Coleen (Larry) Armstrong of Minot, Sandra (Darrell) Boucher of Grand Forks, Donald (Jane) Tennancour of Tolna, Ray Tennancour of Palisades, CO, Mary (Randy) Malo of Rugby, Kenneth (Chong) Tennancour of Winder, GA, Timothy (Doreen) Tennancour of West Fargo, Teresa (Garland) Montgomery of McCanna, Linda (Chuck) Tennancour-Sleeper of Covington, WA; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents John and Gladys; step-father Pete Sparby; twin son, Matthew; brothers, John and Chuck; his in-laws, Clarence and Betty (Rodlund) Berg and Chuck Oster.
