Patricia R Sattler

Patricia Sattler of Rugby, ND died Wednesday January 20, 2016 in a Minot hospital.

Patricia was born May 26,1929 in Leeds, ND. The daughter of Gilbert & Francis Nesvig. She attended country school & graduated Leeds High school in 1946.After graduating Mayville State College, she taught in Isabell Consolidated School. Patricia married George Sattler on June 7, 1948 at St. Mary's Church in Knox, ND. The family moved to a farm near Willow City in the spring of 1958.

While farming she also worked at the Rolette Hospital & drove school bus for the Redwings. After moving to Rugby in 1982,Patricia was able to devote much of her time volunteering for different organizations throughout the community. Her favorite being the HAMC Care Center where for 30 years she worked tirelessly comforting the residents with flowers and flower gardens. In 2004 she was named volunteer of the year. She loved golfing, snowmobiling, dancing and gardening.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, George. Children: Georgene, Robbie, Rodney,Ryan and Renae. Sisters: Betty and Gail. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by children: Cynthia, Rick, and Randy. Sisters: Jerry and Mary; and granddaughter, Kaitlin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 25th at the Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby with spring burial in the church cemetery.  Father T.T. Paulraj, Celebrant; Msgr. Fr. Joseph Senger, and Fr. Tom Graner, Concelebrants.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday with a Rosary and Vigil prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Rugby.  Visitation will continue on Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.  There will be no reviewal in the church.
